Composition & Silhouettes.

#1. How does framing help you show the main of your photo ?
Framing helps show the main idea of your photo by to help you highlight your main point of interest in the image and or to put it in context too give the image depth.

#2. What is perspective ? Give one example from the article that perspective does for a photo ?
Perspective is a shot taken from is another element that can have a big impact upon an image.
An example is shooting from up or high and looking down on a subject.

#3. How can you use space in a photo ?
By moving in close & personal and moving out too capture a subject in its context.

#4. What is balance in a photograph ?
A balance is the positioning with elements in a frame can leave an image feeling balanced or an image feeling unbalanced. Too many points in one section can have the image looking heavy or complicated.

#5. What are good and bad points of using color in a photo ?
The colors in an image can make or break a shot. And bright colors can add vibrancy, energy & interest. And in the wrong position they can also distract viewers of an image away from focal points.

#1. Why does a silhouette photo stand out ?
They are a good way too convey drama, mystery, emotion and mood too the viewers of the photo and stand out in an album because of the combination of their simplicity but also the story that they convey.

#2. What is the strategy for taking a silhouette photo ?
Place your subject in front of some source of light and too force your camera too set its exposure based upon the brightest part of your picture and not the subject of your image.

#3. Explain how too get your light right :
Throw out a lot of what your learned about normal photography and think backwards. Instead of lighting the front of your subject in silhouettes you need too ensure that there is more light shining from the background than the foreground of your shot.

#4. Where should your light source be ?
In front of a sunset or sunrise.

#5. What should the background of a silhouette be ? & Why ?
The best background will be a bright cloudless sky with the sun setting.

#6. What is a profile ? Why does a profile make a better silhouette ?
Profile is when you capture more of their features ( nose, mouth, eyes) are outlined and they are more likely too be recognized. It looks better too photograph silhouetted people as profiles rather than looking straight on.
