#1. I see a man who looks like he is grabbing the street & covering up the trees. It looks like he's making an open road that was closed.

#2. The colors I see are green, orange, lime green, blue, black & brown. The shapes I see are rectangles, squares, triangles, & circles. The lines I see are lines combined some going up & down & some lines going sideways.

#3. Weird
Mysterious

Path
Green

#4. This photo too me means maybe the man is trying too lead people into the correct path & show the them the right way too go. He's probably guiding people into the right direction & helping them figure out the right & wrong in life.

#5. The Actual & Implied lines is a good rule too express this photo because the street is going in a diagonal direct & the trees are all going in horizontal, & vertical directions.

#3. Gardens
Healthy
Fresh

#4. The meaning of this photo too mean since I am a girl is that maybe this is how she gets her feelings out by doing something constructive. I write by expressing how I feel so maybe she is gardening too keep herself occupied & by expressing how she feels.

#5. This photo represents Simplicity in the Rule Of Thirds, because the photo is well organized & the focus of the picture is showed perfectly in this photo as well.

The Girl Who Loves Too Levitate : Daily Image O2.25.O11

#1. In this photo of "The Girl Who Loves To Levitate" I see the japanese girl looks like she was skipping & jumped & behind her is a beautiful big house & trees behind it. It looks like the sun was just starting too set. She has on a long green coat, no bottoms, her hood is on & some tall boots.

#2. The colors in this picture are brown, gray, green, white, black, yellow , & gold. The shapes I see are squares, rectangles, triangles, & circles. And as for lines, their horizontal & vertical.

#3. Gravity
Float

#4. The meaning of the photo was she at first was taking picture jumping for he wedding party's slide show. And then she couldn't stop & now that's all that she does is levitate & take pictures.

Girl Who Loves To Levitateee.'
#1. The artist is Alice.
#2. The definition of levitation is the act of raising (a body) from the ground by presumably spiritualistic mean.

#3. Because she is quipped with an SLR and a self-timer. When she feels the moment strike, she presses the shutter button down and then she "jumps" into place.

#4. Strangers thought she was mentally ill because she kept jumping but then they realized she was just jumping & taking pictures for her wedding party slide show. & Told her things like congratulations, & too keep jumping.
#5. Her reason for taking picture of "levitation" is for her wedding party slide show.

Daily Image February 23rdd

#1. In the image I see a girl who looks like she's a teenager & she's wearing a blue shirt type of dress, & has leggings underneath with white flat shoes. & she's laying on the cement & it looks like it is next too a puddle of water & the reflection from the sky (meaning the clouds & blue sky) are reflecting into the puddle of water. It looks like she's either thinking, or just decided too lay near the water & see if she can see her own reflection or see how the sky reflected onto the water.

#2. The colors I see are navy blue, light blue, & a turquoise type of color. I also see white, gray & yellow. As for shapes I see a circle, triangle, squares & an oval. As for lines I see cricked lines, straight lines, short & long lines. And lastly, some lines going toward one way & other lines going towards the other way.

#3. Cloudy
Spring
Dense
Misty
Breeze
Azure

#4. The meaning of this photo too me is showing reflection. Because, the sky is reflected into the water. Or it can be the things we surround ourselves with in life can reflect on who we are, & what are future will be like. For example, if we go through a lot during life, then majority of the time its hard with us too deal with a lot.

DailyImage February 8, 2011.*

#1.What I see is three little boys & it looks like they are playing outside underneath a highway/bridge & surrounded by the pole of the bridge, are rough looking stones & dead trees. And either the boys are walking & decided too climb the stones or are playing or etc.

#2. The colors I see are brown, green, white, blue, black, gray & yellowish color. The shapes I see are rectangles, circles, squares, & triangles. And lastly, the lines are see are straight, curved, sideways, some lines are thick & some skinny, & and many lines are cracked up looking.

#3.Old
Rusty
Abandoned
Dirty
Stink
Mildew

#4.Too me the meaning of this photo is too show how many pictures don't have clear focuses. For example, if the focus in this photo is too show the kids playing, then this photo wasn't taken correct because its hard too even see the three boys & if i wouldn't of seen them I would've thought that the main focus point was the stones & the surroundings.

#5.This image uses the Rules Of Composition because the image provides, horizon lines in upper or lower third. The highway & tones are upper & the lines (majority) are going horizontal & if not horizontal then they're going straight.

#4. The meaning of this photo too me is too show how too get a main focal point & show your main focus in a picture & get to the facts in the picture. For example, the beginning of the picture is blurred out & the rest of it has a clear focus.

#5. The simplicity is used in this picture because it has a clear, clean focal point. And showed us that they want too show us the houses & the mazes & etc.

Techniques Essay !

Digital Photography R3

A picture is worth a thousand words. A picture is very meaningful but it isn’t that meaningful if you can’t take a perfect picture. Pictures last a lifetime and hold many memories a picture is EVERYTHING to some people. People think you can just take a picture of a shoe and think its picture perfect it has to be structured and have a clear focus on point of interest. When the picture setting, structure and everything else is on point then that’s when you can say you have a picture perfect photo.

Children are known to be the hardest to take photos of. But many photographers have given new and unique techniques to make the picture speak a thousand words. Getting on your hands and knees or crouching down before you take a shot of a child takes you into their world and helps you to engage with them through the images you take. This was a good better yet excellent tip because when taking picture of a baby they either aren’t looking or crying because of the bright flash on the camera. But if you engage the child into something they’re interested in and have them focused and make them at least crack a smile you will definitely have a very decent photo. One of the best ways to a good shots of them also is to put them on a baby rug and too literally lie down next to them with your camera right on the floor. When you laying down with a baby and making them laugh and smile, the picture comes out amazingly cute. Their laying down and smiling, the picture can hold a lot of memories but not only would It be that but you captured a very picture perfect moment.

What is a focal point? A focal point is the item, color, or anything in the photo that catches the viewers’ eye. The reason a focal point is important is that when you look at an image your eye will generally need a “resting place” or something of interest to really hold it. Many people take a picture with many focal points so it’s hard to know what’s the main idea or the message of the picture is. But if the picture has a clear understanding and gives a clear and specific message then it’s a picture perfect photo. Don’t confuse the viewer with too many competing focal points, which might overwhelm the main focal point. Just because they say a picture is worth a thousand words doesn’t mean it has to have a thousand focal points. When you have a focal point it gives the picture a purpose and make it look decent and very understanding. A picture that has a lot going on is a worthless picture it doesn’t look well and hard to understand. A clear purpose / focal point makes the picture come together.

A positioning would be to step to one side of the tracks and let them run diagonally through your frame from a lower corner to the opposite upper corner. The way a picture is positioned is also important also. A picture that’s cricked and weird looking and has no set position is not a good photo at all. The way its positioned catches the viewer eye and makes them to start and tell a story from the picture for example they’ll wonder why did they position this photo this way? What made them want to have it from the lower to the upper corner instead of from the upper to the lower corner? A picture speaks for them.

To summarize all of this up I honestly believe before a picture is just a picture but that’s all not true. When your taking a picture make sure you look at the setting the way its positioned and also ask yourself do my picture has a clear and understanding focal point. When you’re taking a photo and show someone make sure it’s a picture that speaks for itself and a picture that tells you something. Not only that but a picture that tells you a story. Make sure your picture is worth a memory and a thousand words.
